Best overall District League results!

Congratulations to the 4 teams who have competed this season in the four District League cross country rounds.
In a season which has seen over 30 Beaumont runners in every race, our consistency and high quality of performance has been rewarded by all four teams achieving excellent results in their respective leagues.
In the Junior Girls competition we finished second behind STAGS, Mia Pullan finishing top 3 in every race, winning the first and fourth.
The Inter Girls also finished second behind STAGS, only 14 points behind them over the whole season. Niamh Gallagher finished 3rd in three of the four races, with Bea Towers and Kate Riches also achieving top ten finishes.
The Junior Boys again finished second, but behind St Georges. Sam Hicks was our strongest runner, finishing 3rd and 4th twice in the four races. Ben Humphreys also had a 5th and 6th finish across the season.
The Inter Boys went one place better, winning the competition with Alex Joyce, Lucas King, Tom Cooper and Tom Martin all achieving top ten finishes. In the third round at Nicholas Breakspear all 4 runners finished in the top 9!
Well done to all of the runners who competed this season. Our senior runners have been great role models for the younger runners and have also produced some excellent performances. Emily Anders has had two 4th place finishes whilst the senior boys team of Adam Busby, Owen Carrick, Conor Moore, Jacob Bockenhauer, Anthony Donaldson and Jack Elliott all finished in the top ten in the final round at Verulam.
All runners who have scored for the A teams this season will achieve medals for either first or second place in the League at the Christmas Celebration Assembly.
Well done and thank you to all of you!
