On Monday 20th September 37 year 7 pupils ran in the Sandringham Fun. They had been selected to run based on their performances in the Inter Form fun run on the first Wednesday of term.
The top 6 girl and boy runners scored for the Beaumont teams and in both the boys and girls competitions we finished 3rd. Individually there were some excellent performances with Olivia Almond 5th in the girls race, Tom Hails 6th in the boys race and Jacob Bockenhauer became our first District Champion of the Year, winning the boys race. Well done to Jacob who, along with several other runners, will be invited to run in the Year 7 & 8 combined District League teams for the rest of the season.
Congratulations to all the pupils who ran and were a credit to Beaumont, and thank you to Chris Hilton from year 11 who, as one of our most successful senior runners, came along and helped warm up both teams.

Boys competition: Jacob Bockenhauer – 1st; Tom Hails – 6th; Michael Winter – 19th; Conor Moore – 26th; Jacob Gristenthwaite – 28th; Will Moroney – 32nd
